Copper and Gold

Incredible work by Lisa Kan resulted in this electroformed aspen leaf.
Over 3 days this artisan puts a real live leaf through a series of processes that slowly eats away at the leaf between all its veins. Then copper is applied to the remaining material and voila! A copper leaf. Amazing.



I handknotted lampwork glass beads onto a burgundy satin cord to create this necklace. This fabulous "Lena" bracelet from my Jazz Series captures the same colors to make a glorious set. You can see more photos and detail HERE.
